Maisto’s 2023 catalogue is out recently and have some decent models showed up in 1:12 motorcycle section. Yeah you would have seen my other news coverage about the 2021 Harley Davidson Pan America in 1:12 scale and here comes an other 1:12 diecast scale model. 2022 KTM RC 390 will also be released before the end of this year and we are excited for it. As this KTM is in it early stages of development, Maisto have not shared any photos, so for reference I added picture of the real bike in two colours for you to get some idea on.
We had the previous generation KTM RC390 in 1:18 scale but it never made it to 1:12 scale that’s the what gets me excited. Yeah this 2022 KTM RC390 will also be made in 1:18 scale but why settle for a 1:18 when you have an option of 1:12 scale model loaded with more details. I love Maisto’s 1:12 bikes more than their cars as the feel in hand is far better than other brands like Automaxx and NewRay.
KTM made these 2022 RC390 in two colours (KTM Electronic Orange and KTM Factory Racing Blue) and Maisto might get us either of these in 1:12 scale. I would have wanted this in KTM orange shade as it matches with all my other 1:12 KTM scale models mostly made by Automaxx.
This KTM RC390 gets brand new styling and now it looks more like its bigger sibling, which the older RC390 dint have. Though this is too early for Maisto to share features and details but this will get all the generic features like the working steering, working suspension and diecast bodywork.
At this point in time we don’t have any date for its launch or price point or paint finish etc. And all we know for sure is this beauty is coming your way and mostly within the end of this year. We would put the pricing to hover around $20 and $25. More updates would follow as the days pass and we keep an eye on those updates and pass it down you. So stay tuned till next time… Ciao.
