Today is Republic Day for us Indians and I though I would do an other tricolour Hot Wheels car photoshoot! And I also wanted to make a photo card. This is not my first photoshoot with a tri-color theme(actually four for Independence Day 2014, 2016, 2018, 2019) but my first for Republic Day. For this debut shoot I picked just Hot Wheels 1:64 cars and all of them are roadsters… yeah in three colors that Indian flag has.
Before we get into the actual matters… Lets meet our participants, shall we? Depicting the saffron color is my favourite 2020 mainline, 19 Corvette ZR1 Convertible in bring orange. The color saffron stands for strength and courage of the country and I am sure the Corvette ZR1 can sure stand up to these qualities.
The white color in flag stands for peace and truth! To depict these qualities I picked an other 2020 mainlines Audi R8 Spyder in white drifting its way into this photoshoot. Being a roadster version, this white R8 with black interior looks cooler in this elevated angle.
For the green shade, which depicts fertility, growth and auspiciousness of the land I picked a green mean Italian fighting bull. This Lamborghini Aventador J looks cooler of the entire set, as this is the only concept car of the lot. As a pointer, these shots are done on a white studio setup and the concrete background is added on post processing.
I usually like photo shooting in some outdoor locations and this year due to covid restriction I have to evolve and do the shoot indoors. But I wanted to do something cool so the photoshop came in for help and did the asphalt and the tire track using it to bring in more aspect to this otherwise boring product shots.
This being a very special photoshoot, I have to do some level of planning and I was happy with the final result. I also made a greeting card to be posted in my social networking platform, which also came out well. The above pic also is been used for the card but without the jazzy texture but with some cool party effect.
Though the entire shoot is done indoors, the experience is definitely the one to cherish. I for sure loved this shoot and also the post processing effort that I put in! Hope I will have more themed photos coming up… Ciao.
