I love green mean machines… I personally own a Kawasaki Ninja 250R in bright green! They actually look mean and sounds very sporty without growling like few other bikes in its category! Coming back to our diecast models I have a relatively large collection of Kawasaki models, which stands at 9 as we speak. And seven of them are finished in their trademark green and I give first prefrerence to that color!
This ZX6R that I am unboxing today is my second ZX6R to enter my diecast garage in 1:12 scale! Yes I already have one in collection made by Maisto (Kawasaki Ninja ZX10R 2007) depicting different year so carrying different body structure. This particular Ninja is made by Automaxx and I got this from AliExpress.com, this is a loose model but almost a mint.
Technically this is not an unboxing but an unwrapping but you will love it for sure… Because I am excited. As mentioned before this is a loose item and dint have its originalbox… but I was relatively surprised when i saw the package as it looked like a proper boxed model(from the looks of it) so I got a little curious already! Finally found the reason behind the shape! But I am not so upset, because for me whats inside the box is more important than the outer shell.
There lies two more layers of protection(conventional bubble wrap and a plastic cover) inside that brown box. All these layered armor kept the model from moving on harsh transit(being free shipped) and kept every single part intact. I was not sure till I fully unwrap because motorbikes have more fragile parts than a car model.
This Kawasaki Ninja ZX6R comes with a nice looking mirror that is the most fragile part as is in the real bike but to my surprise survived the transit! thanks to the package and layered protection setup. The model is also starch free as per my initial QC.
Like most Automaxx 1:12 models this Kawasaki Ninja XZ6R 2013 is also quality and proves that reliable products survives brutal abuse! With box or without box this is a gem of model as far as 1:12 model goo.. The green finish is exceptional done and the decals all work magic on this dual color Kawi.
Overall this unboxing gave me great feedback and relief! This being my first loose purchase I was really skeptic and was keeping my fingers cross till end. You know what I even did a shake test to make sure nothing is broken inside! Relieved of all chaos now spending time in planning a photoshoot theme, yes there definitely is a comparison with the older 2007 model! What else to say! I am jumping in joy! Hurrah! Till next time Chao.
