Nissan GT-R is a sexy JDM car and the Tanner Fox version is sexier with green/black dual shade! The Hot Wheels T-Fox version even the mainline is cool, so I picked few to customize or detail, because this beauty can use some! Though T-Fox color scheme looks nice, I wanted a plain body Guaczilla so decide to strip off T-Fox cloths!
Seems like I getting better removing decals off Hot Wheels, so I keep finding more and more models to make them plain body, which I love personally! This T-Fox Hot Wheels mainline is cool but unlike its special edition sibling is not accurate so my actions are justified to an extend!
Though my initial idea is to remove all the decals but later changed my mind to retain the carbon-fiber hood effect. So I retained that hood effect and I was super happy I did and now this Nissan GT-R looks better than most other plain body GT-R in my collection.
I also removed the blacks from the roof making this complete and civilian! The top view reveals the effect that this brought in and damn this looks good! On closer inspection I could see that I have scrapped some paint from that radio antenna when I removed the black paint from the top. But fortunately that made this look legit!
The profile view is where I made a lot of improvements… Till this GT-R I always used nail polish remover to remove decals from Hot Wheels but here when I started on top I realized this procedure is stripping the actual paint as well. So I stopped and researched a bit and found “Isopropyl” as an alternative, ordered it online and was impressed with what it can do!
This Guaczilla looks cool but the difference I made comes alive when you actually put the original GT-R right next to mine. The wheels had a green ring but I decided to get rid of that as well! What do you think? Should I left it alone? Let me know in the comments section!
The only piece that I kind of feel a let down is the rear end, so I decided to act on it detailed the rear lights… and looks great even from the rear! This is not my best but its a decent one to date where I stripped lot of paints and saved the base coat of green! I am really happy how this turned out! What do you think? Ciao, till then!
