Bburago’s Ferrari license kind of created mixed reaction with diehard scale model collectors! When few are excited (includes me) and the news let a large group of Hotwheels Ferrari collectors worried! But all of that moved forward for Bburago and the sale chart only showed growth and nothing growth! As promised their first set of road cars did quite well both in “Race and Play” and also in the “Signature” series! To add grab the attention of the Formula 1 scale model diecast collectors, Bburago unveiled this 2015 Ferrari F1 car in 1:18 scale.
For me this 1:18 scale 2015 F1 Ferrari looks good from most angles taking into consideration that it is only a “Race and Play” edition. There are minor issues like the panel gapes, plastic moulting overflow etc. that are usually found in most of the 1:18 scale diecast model in this price point. What i felt is going for this 2015 F1 Ferrari is the paint job, decals and the carbon fiber detailing. The driver figure looks good from a distance but the hand and the seat belts sort of takes away the excitement.
- Pricing seems to the key in these budget model and Bburago had it covered by pricing it around “£43.95” and few online sellers(www.jumbliesmodels.com) have started accepting pre-orders for a deposit of £5.00!
Over all this 2015 F1 Ferrari markes Bburago’s 1:18 F1 forae and seem to hit all the right boxes! Eagerly waiting for my F1 Ferrari…
