Sunstar is a diecast scale model maker know for its classic car model in 1:18 and beyond. Their 1968 Mustang Shelby GT500 is one my favourite 1:18 scale car from Sunstar stable and I picked it up some time back and love it so much. Sunstar is revamping its lineup and their new announcement reflects its vision. The list includes some exciting cars and this 1965 Chevrolet C-10 Styleside Pickup Lowrider is my top favourite. This was recently announced in their Facebook page gave us more information on colors, price and release dates.
Sunstar makes some cool classic car and they have always been delivering on their promise. Sunstar is not high-end brand for diecast cars but a very good value for money model maker. This 1965 Chevrolet C-10 Styleside Pickup Lowrider has all the ingredients for an other successful product to grace their leaderboard.
This 1965 Chevrolet C-10 Styleside Pickup Lowrider being a 1:18 scale diecast model, comes loaded with details that would push other manufacturers down. The exteriors is spoton and love the scaling more! Moreover, if you want this Chevrolet C-10 in 1:18 scale this is your best bet. This 1965 Chevrolet C-10 Styleside Pickup Lowrider will be released in two colors namely red and blue color.
Like most other Sunstar models, this diecast model also comes with opening doors, engine bay and tailgate. The interior don’t have that much details but the upholstery and steering details are good. The door hinge of this Chevrolet is conventional, which looks a bit odd but does its job well.
The engine details of this 1965 Chevrolet C-10 Styleside Pickup Lowrider is basic but this work for the price. The hood open up quite well and reveals inside of the bay with out any obstruction. The hood hinge is relatively small in comparison, which is a good touch.
This Sunstar 1965 Chevrolet C-10 Styleside Pickup Lowrider looks very cool even from rear. The rear tailgate also opens up to reveal a cool yet detailed flooring. These pics shared by Sunstar maybe preproduction sample, so some details may change but not by a very big margin we assume.
This Chevrolet C-10 will be released by end of June this year and price will be around $129.95 (as per livecarmodel.com) and pre-order are open with few online retailer and selling out fast.
