Paragon Models is a diecast car maker who produce some premium models by BMW, Rolls Royce and Jaguar in 1:18 and 1:43 scales. Their products are know for sleek details and value for money perception. Though these diecast are not as much detailed as Kyosho or AUTOart but they do make some exceptional products which gets a name for them in the Diecast Collectors book. But if you are a collector in India and you want to own one of the babies then the only option you had so far is importing, which in experience is cool but the issue is there is no way you could know the quality till it is delivered! All of that is going to change… thanks to Modelart India (who is already importing some diecast brands like AUTOart, Maisto and Bburago) came forward to import these Paragon Models.
I was a regular buyer with Modelart Bangalore… so its not a news that I get calls from the nice folks here every time they get new stocks. But this time around I was jumping as they said they got some new model from “Paragon Models” and the excitement just maxed out when he mentioned BMW and Rolls Royce! I immediately set an appointment for the weekend. I was really in a mood to see these cars real and I was pleasantly surprised by this “Rolls Royce Phantom V 1964” in the outside display and the back note that stated it is a limited edition raised my pulse even further. Price of this Rolls is the catch point!!! Yes its only INR15,000/- and for that price you get a Rolls Royce in 1:18 scale.
- This Psychedelic Rolls Royce Phantom V (showcased by us here) carrying John Lennon graphic scheme is one to look out from Paragon Model. The graphics detailed and details like the mirror are all pristine. At a price of INR 15,000/- it is a steal.
I am a sports car fan so its natural that I would be taking home one of the BMW that they have here… After some eyeballing around I made the decision to take home a M6 but the problem is they only had a black! After some checking around the shop keeper pulled out this Imperial Blue and then its billing time… I initially felt INR 7500/- was a little high but even then I swiped that plastic and bagged this Bimer. That’s Addiction!!

When I visited this Modelart in Forum Mall Bangalore they had good stock of the Rolls Royce and low stock in BMW and the M5 is available in silver and also in one other color(that I don’t remember). I will try and rush into writing a review soon on my BMW M6. So hurry and buy them if you already are waiting for any of these models because they are hot cakes. Happy Shopping.
How many of the Paragon John Lennon rolls Royce were actually produced?
