As most of my friends know I am a Lamborghini freak! And this Lamborghini Estoque has always been in the top of my list as the form factor of this four door Lamborghini is really unique! Because its a made by a budget diecast car brand Motormax, importing this was really expensive and they some how made no sense! But lately Amazon.in started adding some international products and took care of most of the hassles that came with importing! So finally ordered it after a lot of thinking!
I finally clicked that order now button on 25th August, 2017 and the order was delivered on 7th September, 2017 that is exceptionally quick for an international purchase. Yes as mentioned, Amazon took care of every bit of importing process… all I did was upload some sort of ID proof and pay some importing duty right when I payed for this Italian bull!
The package for this 1:18 scale Motormax Lamborghini Estoque is just nice… The windowed box gives some show of the model inside. I personally like this box style especially if you are picking it from a toy store shelf. Like Maisto, this box includes some licensing details and other brands that Motormax is associated with.
Unboxing this Lamborghini Estoque is relatively straight forward as most other Motormax… The diecast model is fastened on to its internal frame by four screws. The doors (no engine details or opening bonnet) are kept together by transparent tapes, which you may have to cut and say no to reusing! But to my surprise the trunk was give a transparent elastic band, which can be removed without cutting.
Once out of the box this Lamborghini Estoque looks bigger, thanks to its four door design and those massive wheelbase. To be frank I feel that Motormax should have made a special box to house this massive Lamborghini Estoque the rear almost jets out through the side.
What I like the most about this Lamborghini Estoque is its doors yeah the front doors that open! The rimless doors looks sleek, this is further enhanced by the half rolled window… The door looks so cool when kept open when you display! But those huge door hinges spoils the party! For me what miss the most is the opening bonnet and the engine details! But I get it point because even Lamborghini dint showed the engine!
I love doing size comparison so to do a fair comparison, I picked a 1:18 Bburago Reventon in Matt Black, thats when I see the size difference and the bulk of this four door coupe. This Estoque looks more like pre matured Lamborghini Huracan from the front, which infact made me love the Lamborghini Estoque. The rear is supremely unique even by Lamborghini’s standard. This Lamborghini Estoque rubs shoulders with this Reventon and doesn’t shy away in any ways!
This Lamborghini Estoque is a very unique car in many ways… Even Lamborghini loves this car and form factor. It is just waiting for the market to mature for a four doors coupe and their competition is going this way and some are doing really well. An I myself don’t collect four door car that much as they are don’t look pretty cool in my display and they actually don’t like then much in real life as well. But I would be interested in parking four door lambo in my real life garage. I will do a real review of this Motormax Lamborghini Estoque pretty soon, so please hold on little bit more.
