17th April, 2014 is a date to rejoy if you are anyway related to Muscle Cars or American Automotive Industry… It is the 50th anniversary of the introduction of the Ford Mustang Brand. Introduced as a 1965 model at the 1964 World’s Fair in New York, it was a sensation that created a new class of automobile that was later called “pony car.” Ford has already unveiled it 2015 Mustang GT and its doing catch catch with other leading brands… Here is a TV commercial that bangs a strike between my favorite car movie to date “Need For Speed” and my favorite muscle car the “2015 Ford Mustang GT” watch and enjoy… If you have watched this movie then you that this 2015 Mustang is featured in the movie as a closure hero car.
Maisto took this opportunity to introduce its newest diecast scale model to the collectors… Maisto’s 2014 catalog is also update with pics of this model in 1:18 and 1:24 scales categories. The colors are not confirmed but who could resist the most popular red color that even Ford uses for showcasing its upcoming Mustang model.
But its only recently (on 17th April, 2014) they posted the tooling model pic that confirms us that the model would be in production pretty soon and we get in in our hands by second half of this year. Though it is too early to comment on quality but the tooling model look so promising and give us the confidence to add this model to our wishlist.
