The Stig is a character in the British motoring television show Top Gear and the much sorted out character of the show. The character was the creation of presenter Jeremy Clarkson and the show’s producer Andy Wilman. The character plays on the anonymity of racing drivers’ full-face helmets. The Stig is responsible for setting lap times for cars tested on the show, but this news post is not about his racing skills but his market value in the miniature domain.
1:18 scale is a very famous scale for car, so a figurine at that scale would be great addition! I recently got myself a black and white Stig unknown brand though, the details were good and they just feel at home near any exotic car. If you like exotic cars and love every premium maker (BBR, M.R.Colletion etc.) the $120 Stig Figurine makes more sense because it is more expensive than many AUTOarts and Kyoshos.
As from the pics you could make out what to expect from this figurine. It is a creation of “Scale Figures” who are known for precision figurines which is expected to be available by end of 2011 (30/11/2011 as per the source). The folks in Scale Figures are going to release these figurines only in limited numbers (20-black stig and 40-white stig) so rush and preorder now White Stig, Black Stig.
