Facebook page of Jada toys is on fire now a days… You could find some news be it a new launch or an upcoming or a tooling mock pics as a teaser, what caught my eye recently is this showed tooling sample of a wide-body Ben Sopra GT-R. This is something that I was genuinely interested and keenly following the progress after their “Fast & Furious” madness! These pic are released by around march time and was mentioned it will a 1:24 and also gave a hint that they may look at 1:18 scale as well.. So I sort of keeping my fingers crossed for the 1:18 scale as this model look sick with all those vents and decals.
- I recently acquired a 1:18 Furious 7 featured GT-R that Brian drives in the climax chase scene and I absolutely love it! And it’s just natural that this wide body Ben Sopra variant excites me to the core. Going with the number of F7 GTR sold the idea is clear… there are fans following the Godzilla even as a diecast scale model.So there is one thing clear this wide body GTR will be an other success story for Jada Toys not matter which scale they decide to release.
Jada Toys has not reveled any specific date so far for this launch… I guess they have too much car models to make, licence and release. But if I have to be optimistic about this model I would say we can expect this model within this year or by around the release time of Fast 8, which is being planned for April 2017. That’s a real long time but I would say that’s a worthy wait.
