Every offroad driver holy grail is a hummer because of its DNA, which is from a Humvee(HMMWV – High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle) a military vehicle created by AM General primarily used by the United States Armed Forces. Also the civilian version is lighter so more nimble! Recently I got myself a Hummer H1 Wagon in black after waiting in a quee for so long!! Today I took them both along with my camera for an outing to see if this summer is any good for offroading in these iconic offroaders! xDiecast way!
This year is hot! relatively hotter than last year… But that dint kept me indoors! Its been long time since my last photo shoot or even a review so I wanted to get out and freak out with my beloved Hums! The spot is nothing new… more or less the same place as the hummer sand shoot so finding new angles was a challenge!!
But for a pro its relatively easy to get in and get going… So now the theme that I decided was “Desert Storm” but after seeing the location it deviated to “Summer Storm” because the greenery around are also added some more character to the black mean H1! So the first half was shot were framed showing some trees and dead plantation, giving it a summer outdoor theme.
Initially I expected the sand shade Humvee to excel this theme shoot but on second examination the Hummer H1 showed it real mean standing shoulder to shoulder with the Army guy.
When I am about to finish I saw a truck driving by creating a cloud of dust which sparked a newer idea to move a little further to catch the dust! At around 1:30 and scorching sun in it full glory I am almost fried but the sprite to capture the best kept me going…
The newer location is brilliant with abandent red soil(so dust is a plenty too) and wider space to arrange the hums and shoot! The only issue that I faced here is the truckers who either blow me to hell with dust or curiosity to know what I am doing!! But I dont mind as this is nothing new at all.
With the location and neighborhood fixed got back to business and had a blast!! As everybody’s dream I kind of biased to the Humvee setting the H1 behind him in almost all the following shots!!!
Hope you enjoyed this photo shoot! But this is only a part of fun that had under sun! Stay tuned to see what I did to my Hummer H1 wagon!!
Great shots as usual … Awesome detailing and out door shooting… Where did u get this humvee ..? You cud have added ur red exoto hummer too …
Thanks buddy! I badly wanted to get the Exoto Hummer H1 but the scaling issue with these Maisto make it look like a monster Hummer!!! I wanted this shoot to look as real as possible said bye to Exoto with tears!!
Excellent work dear. Every angles shot is good and turning heads.I wish you publish few images showing how the shoot was arranged. That will be really helpful for people like me who wants to do the same.
