Figurine are the neat addition to your car or bike collection that adds vibrance and attitude. I do have a bunch of figurines starting from STIG(both black and white) to Iron Man to Manga Figurines! This Mythical Creature Satyr is a surprise find in our local Hamleys. I was here just walking around the diecast ally and saw few new addition to the organic figurines (mostly action figurines) and though of checking them out as I found some nice figurines from this very spot!
This time also I got lucky as I passed this ally I could not believe my eyes as this newly added Mythical Creatures section was sparkling with some figurines that to my surprise are not action figurines with articulating arms. The details are awesome and the facial aggression is mind blowing. For a second or so I paused to thing which car I would place this figurine?? Then my mind said F#$k off these figurine are super cool so just “BUY IT”! I personally like to pair this guy with my Desert Storm Humvee!
This 1:18 Mythical Creature Satyr Figurine by CollectA is package in a purpose build blister! This Satyr Figurine is not the first CollectA figurine! But the first one to come in a box!! The entire figurine is exposed and that the good news! The package gives you maximum chances to inspect the figurine and admire every details. Unboxing is a very simple affair just cut few sellotape and pop the box… Now you would see those wire tight that is kind of knotted to the foot of the figurine and its a tough job to open them.
- OMG! Nightmare wire tights!! Again?!
The box contains a figurine, a figurine’s weapon(sword in this case) and a product catalog in color! There is also a description card that is attached to the back side of the box but I did not remove it as I have a habit of storing the box for future transportation purpose. The Satyr figurine itself is a work of art! The material is kind of rubbery plastic but the glace on his accessories makes you think if it is metal of what?
This Satyr Figurine is majestic with aggressive eyes, muscular body and his accessories just gives him that extra woomps! Initially I felt that this figurine is a little over sized but on close inspection got the point! This guy is a Mythical Creature and his proposition is expected to be off! So to give a proper idea I put the tallest figurine from my 1:18 figurine collection and he does looks like he is a no match for this Mythical Creature The Satyr! Now I am in trouble… I have to find a car as its pair! Does the Desert Storm Humvee work? Comment below with your views. Ciao.
