AUTOart is a premium scale models maker and their lineup is filled with some of the greatest performance cars. Porsche takes a big chunk of that pie and newer models gets added to list every year… This year AUTOart will add 1:18 scale Porsche 911 (991.2) GT2 RS Weissach Package in yellow (racing yellow as per Porsche) and many other colors. Here is our update on this upcoming beauty or beast.
Though this GT2 RS comes in multiple colors, I am mostly excited for this racing yellow! Carbon-fibre detailing looks good on this shade and the black alloys also stands out. The pic released by AUTOart of this Porsche 911 (991.2) GT2 RS Weissach Package seems like preproduction sample so their is still some scope for improvements.
I have an AUTOart Porsche 911(997) GT2 and absolutely love it and expected this to be even better than that, which seems to be a fair expectation knowing AUTOArt! The profile and stance seems so prefect far better than other GT2s released in the past. I love the Porsche engraving on the rear spoiler so much.
AUTOart’s interiors have very high details and this yellow version gets all black interior with red accents adds variety to this purpose build interior. Like other AUTOart cars with opening doors, this also gets almost clean door hinges, aiding to that cleaner and sharper looks.
The release of this Porsche 911 (991.2) GT2 RS Weissach Package is around the corner and the first color to see light is the White! More colors like Guards Red, Miami Blue, GT Silver and this Racing Yellow which all would be released as early as June! The pricing should be around $250 mark, which is in the same ballpark as other basic models. So what is your favourite color of this Porsche lot? Mine is this Yellow for sure!
