Ford GT is one of the legendary hyper car that Ford has ever made… The case is almost similar even in the diecast car collectors world! The 1:18 Ford GT is a very expensive buy even since production stopped a while ago and Ebay became our only option. I managed to get mine before this and should feel really proud of me for that! But due to extensive demand or market research AUTOart had confirmed that they will make these beauties again… This is fairly an old news but there is an update now in the form of an update in their website and also in FB page with some pics of preproduction(I guess) sample.
- As per our sources there will be a red with white strips and this one shown in this post the black with white strips. But the real icing are those freaky mags! What we expect from AUTOart this time around is that they will use most of the diecast molds and accessories from their existing parts bin, which may also keep the price in check and reachable for more budding collectors. The red color model doesn’t gets any special upgrades checkout my AUTOart Ford GT it looks identical. The yellow that we got with the last release is no where in scope, so there is a good chance that it may go up on demand!
Though the status is updated in their official site(www.autoartmodels.com) from “Temporary out of stock” to “Coming Soon” there is not certain release date mentioned. What we expect is that they may release by the end of 2015 or early 2016. Till then lets have our fingers crossed… Ciao!
