Almost Real is a premium diecast scale model maker known for their highly detailed model like the 2020 Land Rover Defender, Mercedes Benz G500 4×4 Squared, Land Rover Defender 110 Camel Trophy Edition and more! They recently announced their newest licence with RUF and the first line-up using this accusation! Yeah to start, Almost Real will release RUF Rodeo Concept, RUF SCR and RUF CTR Anniversary by this year in 1:64 scale followed by 1:18 next year. For reference, I add photos of the real cars as other car are still in development and gives us a good reference point.
Of the three announced, the RUF Rodeo Concept is the one that takes me by storm… Yeah this RUF Rodeo Concept is the one that packs a lot of details both outside and inside. SO Almost Real crafters will have good time making it and we collectors will have so much fun enjoying it in our desk to displays. Of course it will give us bragging rights too in any meet-ups! Though this Rodeo is planned for end of this year, Almost Real had showed off some sample photos of 1:64 version!
In comparison to RUF Rodeo Concept, the RUF SCR and CTR looks a bit plain! This Green SCR looks clean and it don’t stand out and blends well with rest of the cars in your display! I personally like this green SCR for its good optics, low stance and great alloys. The Interiors of this car is spot on and love its sleek upholstery.
The Yellow RUF CTR looks even sleeker than AUTOart Porsche 911 (991.2) GT2 RS Weissach Package if done fine and we are sure it will be, knowing Almost Real’s past records! If you are into 1:64 scale model, these could be yours before the end of this year(as per Almost Real’s FB post) and 1:18 may take some time and expected by Q2 2023! Pricing will be in the same ballpark as other AR models, we assume. We are super excited for these beauties and I would put my money on this CTR concept but I may flip for Rodeo when I see the final production models. We will keep our eyes for these beauties and keep you post with updates, when and where they surface. Till then… Ciao.
