Mitsubishi Evo is one of my favourite all wheel drive cars, being an avid gammer my love for this car is just enough! Though Mitsubishi has a big fan following, there aren’t many diecast model available in the market like other German and Italian cars. AUTOart and Tarmac did some good job and PopRace is joining that party to take a piece of that Pie. PopRace will be releasing Mitsubishi Evolution Tommi Makinen in 1:18 scale and it is coming to collectors like us this year…
PopRace has been pouring pics of this Mitsubishi Evolution in their Facebook page and we got excited of this Japanese car more with every teaser! This will be a resin car so fully sealed but this car does have so many exterior details to keep any collector go banana for this. The latest colour to be teased is the black and I absolutely love it in this color!
The second color is the blue which is one of my favourite color for this Mitsubishi Evolution even without Tommi Makinen decals! To be frank I love this color the most because it enhances every single details that this is known for! This is a right hand drive Evo with black/red interior, which contrast this blue bodywork well.
The sliver one, the first one to be showed off is the sleekest of the lot and look very comfortable in urban situations. As per these prototype photos the windows look a little tinted but I am guess that will be passed to the finial production version too. The black and white decals running all along the body looks perfect in this shade.
These Evos are in continues improvements and will be release ready by Q3 of 2022 and we may see all three colors unleashed at the same time! As per the PopRace website these are priced at HKD$2,280.00, which is an exceptional value for money in my opinion! This 1:18 scale Mitsubishi Evolution Tommi Makinen Edition has everything going for it so I am excited for it to see light sooner… Till next time, Ciao.
