Lamborghini Centenario is a sexy car as is most other Lamborghini out there. This looks sharper that most exotic car from the Lamborghini’s line up, Yeah Lamborghini Veneno is the sexist by far! When this Centenario was unveiled at the March “2016 Geneva Motor Show” it struck waves around the supercar aficionado from around the world. Though this is based on “Aventador” it look million times better. And we know that Maisto/Bburago holds license to the original Aventador(click here for my full review) so we were expecting this Centenario… Yes we were given what we wanted in a form of a 1:18 scale Lamborghini Centenario in a carbon fiber finish and I loved it to the core! But we being humans we expect more and now Maisto made that wish true by adding a Lamborghini Centenario to it’s exclusive series lineup.
- I love the carbon fiber Lamborghini Centenario in its special edition form but this looks better in this bright yellow. But to do a proper comparison we need to wait a bit longer to find out and keep our fingers crossed for that gorgeous carbon fiber Centenario because as of now the exclusive edition comes only in yellow.
This Lamborghini Centenario looks nicer in yellow and far more lively that the carbon fiber edition. But I feel this yellow shade gives away it’s DNA quite easily… Yes I kind of feel like this is a buffed up Aventador, which is not the case with the carbon finish. So I feel the carbon fiber finish would appeal to fewer audience and this yellow finds its own share as well. This competition will get hotter with AUTOart coming into this Lamborghini Centenario party and may pretty well crash it. Yes this model will never take a bite at AUTOart’s pie but will make many feel good about owning a Lamborghini Centenario.
As per photos posted in Maisto’s website this Lamborghini Centenario looks cool, the paint looks deeper and it comes with fully rolled up window, which gives this bit more premium feel. As per me, the biggest problem with Maisto models(even exclusive series) is the panel gaps and here in this Centenario it seem to be sorted! The gaps are decent on most space prone zones like the doors, the engine bay and also the hood etc. The carbon fiber detailing is also done with a bit more attention to details.
We cannot find any release date or price details, but going with our past experience with Maisto it should in the price point of it other exclusive series models, which is a very good news. We are tracking the progress and will keep you posted. Until next time. Ciao.
