Ducati is by far my favorite motorcycle brand both as a real rider and also as a Diecast Scale Model! I have been looking for this Ducati Scrambler in 1:12 scale for some time, though Maisto made this very same model in “Orange Sunshine” in 1:18 and I expected it to release a 1:12 version! But to my surprise the 1:12 version never turned up! So this news from TSM Model is a news to rejoice and go crazy! Being their first 1:12 scale model, I had my doubts but this prototype that they showed off in their Facebook page just blew me out! Being their first 1:12 bike model I couldn’t speculate on price and because I am going crazy… I started saving for this model, hoping that this Ducati will not be priced like an AUTOart but somewhere in the bracket where Automaxx/Joycity is placed. Keeping my fingers crossed!
This Ducati Scramble Icon comes in Rosso Ducati and the Scrambler Classic comes in Orange Sunshine. TSM models had put in very good effort in these Ducati Scramblers and the photos talk for itself. The details on this model are top class especially taking into consideration that this is only a pre-production sample. I like the brake line that runs from the handlebar to the caliper the most, sleek exhaust and that great engine details completes the picture.
- This is the first Diecast maker to show off a pre-production with a view of its package… But I am just happy for that because I just love the box, its minimal looks makes it look premium. Lets hope this box also makes it to the production.
- I found these Ducati Scrambler to have some fancy features like the working front suspension as show in Shizuoka Hobby Show in Japan. There is no word about the pricing and official release from TSM model so we have to wait and see! Ciao.
