Pagani Huayra a Hypercar named after a “God of the winds” is one of the models that gives you goosebumps even in its mere presence! The same holds true for this GT Autos made Hauyra in 1:18 scale! Yes I am aware of the fact that more premium brands like AUTOart and BBR makes for more detailed scale models, this is premium for the value that it packs. Apart from the value part this Pagani Hauyra pack some punch both in terms of details as well the fit and finish.
I have been wanting to get my hands on one of this model for a very long… But the issue is there are very limited Pagani’s(I mean diecast scale models) making trips around in India so getting a model locally is impossible! The only other option is to import but I am little late for that as most vendors who had this Hauyra ran out of stock and the other who happen to have and very risky purchase. But luckly for me a friend of mine is planning to do a group buy so I opted for it without thinking twice.
- Everything went well with the purchase and one day I got a news about the arrival and I was flying… Trust me this is one of the most exciting unbox I ever done. But to my disappointment the Box is in a very bad shape and even the certificate of authenticity is missing!! The box also had a nasty bump onto its sides too!
But the disappointment turned into joy as I opened up the full box and the actual model came out of the styrofoam box! The model was just placed there… no screws or anything holding it in place! So I would like to call it a cleaver packaging and intuitive details even in packaging material. The model is almost in pristine condition… Thanks to the styrofoam package and the protection wrap.
My first impression was good with this model.. Why good? Not super, because this Pagani Hauyra holds some good bits like the paintjob, attention to small details, sexy carbon fiber work and nicer interior! As always this GT Autos has some issues like the doors that open in a non matching angles, engine trunk refuses to stay open, unfinished grill details under the door etc. But these issues would make me regret my purchase… This is just my first impression so just hold one for my full review to know if I like it or hate it?
I had blast of an experience because the end result is fruitful! Actually I was little upset in the begining but the same turned to better at the later phase… All I could ask for is a bit more protection to the box and more care when packing!
