NewRay 1:12 Honda Gold Wing 2010 – Unboxed

Finally the big daddy of touring motorcycles and Honda’s flagship cruiser in 1:12 is unboxed! Yes this is the fourth and final installment of “The Big Billion Day” purchase from FlipKart. This bike model came along another model (Ducati Multistrada 1200S Pikes Peak edition by NewRay) in a bigger box! The postage box has some FlipKart prints and the enough protection is given for the products inside.

• This box is pretty much beaten and the scratches in the transparent enclosure shows a of proof. When it comes to size, this box infact is a giant in comparison with any other 1:12 models, I pecked the MultiStrada’s box on top this Gold Wing to show you the size difference. This box is in the league of 1:10 scale bikes! Apart from the size this also sports some treatment that only the premium end models get, like the product snapshot on the back, which is usually seen in AutoMaxx boxes, fastening technique and even the box quality. There is no hologram that shows the authenticity of the product!

  I kind of feel this bike to be treated like a car (thanks to its size on road, features it comes with and the comforts that provides on long rides), the same went into this package. This Honda Gold Wing model is held up to the box via couple of screws unlike other 1:12 bike models by NewRay! This techenicis usually seen in car models and I first saw in Maisto 1:12 Harley Davidson FLHRC Road King Classic, this infact reduced a lot presure and enhanced the unboxing experiencing! This unbox is the fastest NewRay unbox at under Five minutes (that includes photo snapping too)!

• Out of the box this Gold Wing feels heavy! The next fattest 1:12 motorcycle “Harley-Davidson FLHTK Electra Glide Ultra Limited” by Maisto feel like a feather in comparison.

This Honda Gold Wing is a long term plan and brilliant value for money… The Harley-Davidson FLHTK Electra Glide Ultra Limited” by Maisto kind if the biggie but not any more, the new raining fatty is this Gold Wing by NewRay. I kind of feel this model on par with the Maisto when it comes to features concern. Just like the other model from this purchase spree this Honda Gold Wing also lacks the speedo sticker but get the mirror sticker thats a good(atleast a better) news for me. I cannot wait to take this bike out for a comparison photo shoot… so hold on and byes for now.
